Our search for the best quinoa on Earth led us to the highlands of Bolivia, where we discovered not only amazing quinoa, but the amazing farmers that grow it. In developing countries, farmers often struggle to earn self-sustaining incomes and are forced to rely on foreign aid. We wanted to do something about that; that's why we pay our quinoa farmers 5-10% above market price for their quinoa. By sourcing our quinoa primarily through a socially and environmentally responsible source, we ensure every producer who puts their heart and soul into growing our certified organic quinoa is fairly compensated through an empowering, market-based approach.
