Meet Snowy the white llama! She is our August Llama, and you can learn more about our monthly llamas on our Instagram @keenonequinoa !
Did you know that llamas will “adopt” a group of goats or sheep and protect them? Snowy didn't even need training to learn to bond with her sheep friends. Snowy loves gazing at the beautiful blue sky with them.
In various parts of the world, llamas have been known to defend against predators and are often considered to be "guard llamas." Llama's instincts allow them to be skilled in finding far away danger and keeping a good track their surroundings. Some of their ways of fighting against an intruder is by making a very loud noise that surprises the intruder. Sometimes they sprint quickly toward an intruder to get the intruder out of their area. You've probably heard that llamas are also talented spitters! You can find lots of funny llama videos online, and these are just a few reasons why we love llamas.
